Welcome to the month that was for real estate in Hawthorne CA in January 2024.  The number of homes that sold fell to a fairly low 13 homes closing escrow to start the year.

The average “list” price was $880,667 with the average sold price at $874,917 compared to $852,233 which was the average sales price in December 2023.

The average price per foot was $750 which was way higher than the  $630 the month prior.  Average days on market jumped up a bit to 37 which was longer than it has been in some time.

2023 Home Sales Slow in Three Sixty But Impressive Prices

2023 Real Estate Recap for Three Sixty South Bay in Hawthorne

It was definitely a very slow year in the gated community of Three Sixty in terms of the number of homes that sold, but that wasn’t due to lack of demand….it was due primarily to lack of homes for sale.  It was a very down year both in terms of the number of homes that came up for sale, and therefore the number of homes that actually sold.

There were only 13 homes that sold in 2023….compare that to the high of 65 in 2017 and you’ll see just how slow that is.  That being said the average sale prices was almost $1.1M! so values just keep going up!

Welcome to the month that was for real estate in Hawthorne CA in December 2023.  The number of homes that closed escrow bounced back up a bit with 18 condo, townhome and home sales during the month.

The average “list” price was $857,417 with the average sold price at $852,233 which meant that homes sold slightly below full price.

The average price per foot was $630 with the average days on market 28 which was slightly below the 34 in the prior two months.
