Welcome to the Hawthorne Real Estate Report for June 2024

It’s definitely still a seller’s market.Terrace single family homes in Three Sixty

It was yet another strong month for the Hawthorne real estate market with 18 homes selling in June.  That was a very similar number as May, but it was a slight drop from the really busy 24 sales in April.

The average “list” price was $989,772 with the average sold price at $996,111 which was down significantly from May’s $1,073,030 but that was somewhat of an unusually high number.  

The average price per foot was $580 which was a below the May average price per foot.  Homes averaged a brief 55 days on market before selling.  The top sale of the month was $1,500,000 for a 4 bedroom freestanding “Terrace” home in the gated community of Three Sixty located at 5542 Palm Drive.

Welcome to the month that was for real estate in Hawthorne CA.  The market is clearly alive and well with the homes that sold averaging over $1,000,000!

The average “list” price was $984,305 with the average sold price at $1,006,574 meaning homes generally sold right around the list price. Home prices were almost identical to the month earlier.

The average price per foot was $635 with the average days on market 35 which was quite a bit longer than the average DOM of 21 in July.
