Hawthorne Real Estate Market Report for JanuaryRedondo Beach townhomes for sale

It didn’t come as much of a surprise as January is often the slowest sales month of the year (due to December being the slowest month of the year for listings and pending sales due to the holidays), but regardless….January was slow with only 10 closed home sales compared t0 18 in December.

The average “list” price was $929,799 with the average sold price at $923,619 which was down slightly from $930,913 in December but up from  $888,588 in November.

The average price per foot was $673 which was fairly typical and the average days on market for homes that sold was 60 before going into escrow.

Parkside Village is a community of freestanding (no shared walls) homes that feature some nice modern upgrades such as granite counters, AC, recessed lights and more.

Hawthorne Real Estate Market Report for NovemberLuxury kitchens in Hawthorne

Things cooled a bit in Hawthorne during November with a minor decrease in the number of home sales and a big drop in prices.  That said there’s often quite a bit of fluctuation month to month in the Hawthorne real estate market.

The average “list” price was $890,556 with the average sold price at $888,588 which was significantly down from $982,841 in October but fairly similar to other months.

The average price per foot was $606 which was also well down from $732 in October.  The  homes that sold averaged 51 days on market before going into escrow.

Of the 17 homes that sold only 4 were in Hollyglen Del Aire with one sale in the gated community of Three Sixty and one in the smaller gated community of Fusion at South Bay. There were 2 sales in the neighborhood of Bodger Park.

Hawthorne Real Estate Market Report for OctoberFusion South Bay townhomes

October 2024 was yet another great month for the real estate market in Hawthorne California with 22 sold homes.

The average “list” price was $975,645 with the average sold price at $982,841 which was a big jump from $884,541 in September but lower than $918,286 in August.

The average price per foot was $732 which was well up from $653 in September.  The  homes that sold averaged 43 days on market before going into escrow.

Of the 22 homes that sold 11 were in Hollyglen Del Aire with three of those being located in the gated community of Three Sixty and one in the smaller gated community of Fusion at South Bay. There were 4 sales in the neighborhood of Bodger Park.

Hawthorne Real Estate Market Report for SeptemberWelcome to Parkside Village

September 2024 was yet another strong month for the real estate market in Hawthorne with 22 home sales although most prices were down from the prior months.

The average “list” price was $875,968 with the average sold price at $884,541 which was a pretty big drop from $918,286 in August and a very impressive $1,048,929 in July.

The average price per foot was $653 which was down from August and homes averaged 30 day on market before going into escrow compared to 14 a month earlier.

Of the 22 homes that sold 6 were in Hollyglen Del Aire and one was in the neighborhood of Bodger Park.  There was one condo sale in Three Sixty located at 12920 Central #402 that sold for $1,040,000 along with one in gated Parkside Village at 12014 Millennium Park Court that sold for $885,000.
