Hollyglen and Del Aire March 2022 Home Sales

Take a look at the homes that sold in the Hollyglen and Del Aire neighborhoods of Hawthorne CA during March 2022.   We saw a bit of an uptick in the number of sold homes with 12 closed sales during the month compared with only 7 in Febaruary.

One Bedroom at 5550 Boardwalk #105 in Three Sixty Sells for $775,000

It was a slower month for home sales in Hawthorne CA with only 24 properties closing escrow.  Two of those homes were in the gated community of Three Sixtyin the neighborhood of Hollyglen

One of them was a rare unit in the “lofts” at 5550 Boardwalk #105 which sold for full price at $775,000

The builder only developed one building known as the “lofts” which makes it rare with a very unique layout and configuration.  The loft style makes for a dramatic livingroom with high ceilings and great light.  Some of the other highlights of this type home is that it offers a very large outdoor deck/patio and loft bedroom is very bright and spacious (and open).

It was a slow month for closed home sales in Hawthorne with only 15 on MLS homes closing escrow during the month. The average “list” price was $901,407 with the average sold price at $928,900 meaning that, in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. Hawthorne’s Top Home Sale of the Month in Three Sixty South Bay

Yet another sales price record was broken and this time is was a  residence 1 floorplan in the Terraces at 5245 Pacific Terrace which closed escrow at an incredible $1,455,000.  There have been plenty of freestanding Terrace homes that have sold over $1.4M but they were all much larger.   The residence 1 is the smallest of the Terrace layouts with around 1,861 square feet, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

Given that the last 2 residence 1 sales were at $1,197,000 (3/23/21) and $1,122,500 (3/10/20) the sales price of $1,455,000 shows just how crazy the market has become.
