Although Fusion and Three Sixty South Bay are very well known these days, there is another gated community just southeast of Fusion that flies under the radar. It’s called Marine Village and consists of just 43 homes consisting of large 4 bedroom 3 story townhomes and 3 bedroom two story townhomes. The latest listing in the gated communitty is priced at $1,125,000. The location would appear to be in Hawthorne but is actually Lawndale.
This townhome offers around 2,076 square feet on three levels. This is definitely vertical living as they have a lot of bedrooms and square footage into a fairly small footprint so lots of square footage…..and lots of stairs. These homes all have some balcony and yard space although the patio/yard is off of the bedroom level and not the living level. The 4 bedroom layout units were all built in 1994.
HOA dues as of 2025 are around $395 a month. The community offers a nice pool areas but not much else in the way of amenities. It is, however, just up the street from Marine Ave Park in Manhattan Beach which has a nice playground, soccer fields, raquetball courts, basketball and a number of baseball fields. Marine Village townhomes are part of the award winning Wiseburn School District.
The home last sold on 10/19 for $899,000.

The latest listing in the Hollyglen in Hawthorne is a beautifully remodeled and updated single famly home located at 5510 w 142nd Place. The home was built in 1959 but was extensively updated recently including new roof, new plumbing, updated interior spaces and more. The only challenge is that the home does back up to Rosecrans so road noise is a bit of a factor.

The latest home to hit the market in Three Sixty in Hawthorne CA is a 2 bedroom plan 1 townhome “Row” layout in this gated community. We don’t have much in the way of details on the condition as there are no interior photos just yet and the home is tenant occupied so showings are a challenge at the moment.
The home is Listed by Brook Billings of Compass.
The home has had some updating including new hardwood floors and remodeled bathrooms but the rest is a bit of a mystery. The plan 1 layout offers a traditional floorplan with the main level featuring a fairly open kitchen, dining and living room with both bedrooms being upstairs along with the washer and dryer. Bedrooms in this layout are fairly good size. The plan 1 features a 2 car attached tandem garage.
