Priced at $979,000 and sold at $1,100,000
The most recent condo sale in the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay tied the highest priced 2 bedroom condo sale ever. The asking price wast $979,000 and it closed a month later at $1,100,000.
12125 Central #302 was a very rare residence 6 condo in the Flats. This rare floor plan featured 2 bedrooms plus a large bonus room or office that could easily function as a 3rd bedroom. The plan 6 layout offers a really open and bright look and feel and some of the finishes include large and open kitchen with a spacious island, granite counters, stainless stell appliances and more. 2 good size bedrooms including the spacious primary suite. The condo offered a spacious laundry room and an additional storage area.
As with all of the homes and condos in Three Sixty the home enjoys the incredible resort like amenities of Three Sixty, gated living, air conditioning and is part of the award winning Wiseburn School District.

It’s a bit surprising that the 2 bedroom home in Fusion at 5412 W 149th Pl #2 is still on the market. It’s only been listed for 37 days (as of this post on 2/7) but things don’t tend to remain on the market all that long in the gated community of Fusion South Bay.
This 2 bedroom “D” floorplan is listed at $965,000 while the other D unit at 5405 W 149th #15 that came on the market at a similar time priced at $1,0250,000 is now in escrow.
It’s a nice home but has some challenges as to how it’s listed with a number of obstacles for both realtors and buyers. Given all of that we think this one could be a great opportunity for a buyer.
The unit itself seems to be in pretty original condition without many original (or owner) updates or upgrades but overall it’s in good shape.
The “D” floorplan is a popular layout for several reasons……the living area is fairly large, has a large and open kitchen, a large laundry/storage area off of the kitchen and both bedrooms are on the same level.
As with all of the condos and townhomes in Fusion the community is served by the award winning Wiseburn School District. Despite the listing showing that the home is in north Hawthorne, it’s actually in the Hollyglen neighborhood which is the most sought after area in the city.
The amenities in Fusion include a very nice pool and spa area, small playground, half basketball court and an abundance of landscaped walking paths and outdoor exercise stations.

Welcome to the month that was for real estate in Hawthorne CA. The number of homes that sold dropped considerably from the prior month with only 12 homes selling in Hawthorne during October which was a really low number. Compare that to the more typical 22 in September.
According to Hawthorne real estate specialist Keith Kyle, this is the lowest number of sales we’ve seen in over 3 years.
The average “list” price was $965,167 with the average sold price at $940,687 meaning that the homes that sold generally sold below the list price. We also saw a number of price reductions..
The average price per foot was $657 with the average days on market 32 which was slightly below the 34 in the prior two months.
