Welcome to the April recap for all things real estate in Hawthorne. See below for home prices in Hawthorne for the past month.
The real estate market in Hawthorne CA was considerably slower in March with only 10 homes closing escrow compared with 17 in February.
The average “list” price was $966,658 with the average sold price at $964,758 which was a bit of drop from $986,690 in March but well over the averages of $910,227 in February, and $923,619 in January.
The fact that homes generally sold slightly below full price may be an indication that the market is cooking off ever so slightly. The average price per foot was $681 which was also a drop from $734 in March. The average days on market for homes that sold was 40 before going into escrow.
The gated community of Three Sixty at South Bay in Hollyglen played a big role with 2 homes closing escrow in April.
