Welcome to the month that was for real estate in Hawthorne CA for this July 2023.  Things slowed a bit in July with 21 homes selling compared  with 31 home sales in June….which was a pretty big month.

The average “list” price was $886,790 with the average sold price at $887,357 meaning homes generally sold right around the list price. Home prices were almost identical to the month earlier.

The average price per foot was $676 with the average days on market 21 which was extremely short…..so much for interest rates slowing down the market.

Things kept on an impressive pace in the real estate market of Hollyglen and Del Aire in Hawthorne with 7 homes that sold during the month at an average price of $1,068,346. The average “asking” price was $1,017,532 meaning that homes generally sold well above the list price.

Homes averaged a very short 14 days on market before going into escrow.  No home sales were in Three Sixty but one sale was in the nearby gated community of Fusion South Bay.
