18 Home Sales with $902,061 Average PriceLuxury kitchens in Hawthorne

The Hawthorne CA real estate market in October  was impressive with 18 homes closing escrow compared with 22 in September.

The average “list” price in October was $912,144 with the average sold price at $902,061 which was a drop from September’s $949,167 average price, but up from $894,277 in August.

Homes averaged $676 per square foot and homes averaged a fairly lengthy 71 days on market before going into escrow.

Welcome to the Hawthorne Real Estate Market Report for July 2025

$1,064,206 Average Sold PriceMarine Village pool in Hawthorne

The Hawthorne CA real estate market in July was solid with 17 homes homes closing escrow.  That was a bit of a dip from the 20 in Jun and 25 in May.

The average “list” price was $1,061,074 with the average sold price at $1,064,206 compared to an impressive $1,050,540 in June and May’s  $1,018,497 average.  Hawthorne was one of the few cities that homes sold over list price in July.

The fact that homes generally sold over full price is a pretty clear indication that the summer market is alive and well.  The average price per foot was $666 and the average days on market for homes that sold was 31  before going into escrow which was a week shorter than June.

The gated community of Three Sixty at South Bay in Hollyglen saw 4 home sales in July and there was one sale in Fusion South Bay.

The Hawthorne CA real estate market in June was another strong one with 20 homes closing escrow.  That was a bit of a dip from the 25 in May but up from April’s 18 sales.

The average “list” price was $1,026,425 with the average sold price at $1,050,540 which was even higher than May’s very impressive $1,018,497 average.

The fact that homes generally sold over full price is a pretty clear indication that the summer market is alive and well.  The average price per foot was $709 and the average days on market for homes that sold was 38  before going into escrow.

The gated community of Three Sixty at South Bay in Hollyglen saw 2 home sales in June and one home sold in Fusion South Bay.
