Welcome to our real estate listings update for the gated community of Fusion in the Hollyglen neighborhood of Hawthorne CA.

5403 W 149th Place #6 just hit the market and it’s looking to match or even break the recent sales record set back in June.    The list price is clearly following in the footsteps of the sale of 5404 W 149th Place Unit#7 which  was listed at $1,099,000 and closed at $1,155,000 back in June.  This was the highest priced home sale in history in Fusion.

As mentioned above, the home is a very nicely upgraded  “J layout”(click to see floorplan) which is the largest floorplan offered in the community, and one highlight is that all of the living spaces are on one level.  The one tradeoff is that there are lots of steps from the garage as the J units sit above the 3 bedroom “G” layout units.  One of the strenghts of the J floorplan is that it offers a pretty open layout with nice sized living and dining rooms open to the spacious kitchen complete with an oversized island.  This home offers some nice upgrades including updated hickory hardwood floors, granite counters in the kitchen, fresh paint, stainless appliances and remodeled bathroom.  The listing mentions a half bath on the “lower” level but we’re not sure what they are referring to as we’ve never seen that in any other J unit.  Some of the highlights of this layout are the open floorplan, living spaces and bedrooms on the same level, larger balcony than normal and huge windows in the living and dining areas.  The J layout also offers a larger than normal balcony that extends from the living room doors across the living room.  The interior location of this home means it’s not looking out at any of the less attractive industrial areas that some of the exterior units look over.

As with all of the condos and townhomes in Fusion, the location is great as it’s located in highly sought after Hollyglen  and serviced by the award winning Wiseburn School District.

The home at 5441 Ocean came on the market about a month ago and after a few days of being pulled off of the market, it’s back.

The 3 level townhome is in nice condition and they just reduced the price but the real challenge seems to be the location as it’s the furthest home to the north in this section of the community which puts it up right next to El Segundo Blvd which is a fairly busy and loud street.   With AC and all of the windows closed it’s not overly noticeable from the inside but it’s pretty hard not to know it’s right there.

Welcome to real estate in the gated community of Parkside Village in Hawthorne California.  This is one of the newer construction communities in the city having been built in 2014 and is a great alternative to more well known gated complexes of Fusion and Three Sixty South Bay.  Located near the corner of 120th St and Van Ness, this gated community offers freestanding homes (no shared walls) with great square footage.

Built between 2014 and 2015 this gated community consists of  176 freestanding homes.  The majority of the homes are 4 bedroom (originally built as 3 bedroom plus office or 2nd living room) with some additional units being 3 bedroom (again originally built as 2 bedroom with an optional 3rd).  All of the homes have some outdoor yard space off of the first floor.  The community is located very close to SpaceX and So Fi Stadium in northeast  Hawthorne.

As the homes are fairly new they generally have the bells and whistles of new construction including granite countertops, central air and heat, recessed lighting, open layouts and newer finishes.
