It’s definitely still a seller’s market.
It was yet another strong, but slightly slower, month for the real estate market in Hawthorne with 14 home sales in July compared with 18 in June.
The average “list” price was $989,772 with the average sold price at $1,048,929 which was higher than June’s $996,111 average but a bit down from the $1,073,030 in May….which was a big number.
The average price per foot was $769 which was way up from $580 in June. Homes averaged a brief 39 days on market before selling.
Of the 14 homes that sold 8 were in Hollyglen Del Aire with one in the gated community of Three Sixty and another in Fusion, 2 in east Hawthorne and an impressive 4 in the neighborhood of Bodger Park.
