November was another great month for both the number of home sales and the home prices in Hawthorne CA. Take a look below at all of the homes that sold during November 2020. See also the current homes for sale in the Hawthorne CA real estate market.  4 of the homes that sold during the month were in the gated community of Fusion South Bay which is pretty incredible given that only 4 homes sold in the first 6 months of the year.  4 of the homes were in the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay

October 2020 Market Update – Hawthorne CA Home Sales

Hawthorne CA had a great month for home sales.  There were 41 properties sold during the month which was the 2nd straight month of 40 or more home sales which hasn’t been the case for years.   3 of the home sales were in Fusion South Bay which was very unusual as there have been so few sales during 2020.  4 of the closed sales were in the gated community of 360 South Bay.

August Home Sales and Property Prices in Hawthorne CA

Hawthorne CA home sales were definitely impressive in August of 2020.  There were 37 home sales in Hawthorne during the month which was certainly a big number.  It was the highest number of home sales since June of 2019.  See our Hawthorne CA real estate trends and statistics page to better understand where the real estate market is heading.

The median “asking” price during the month was $790,000 with the median “sold” price at $795,000 meaning that, in general, homes sold higher than the list price indicating a very strong market favoring sellers. The average price per foot was $521 and the average days on market was only 22 with the median being 7!

17 of the homes that sold were in the Hollyglen/Del Aire neighborhoods and median prices were once again strongly impacted  by the home sales in Three Sixty South Bay.  There were 7 sales in the gated community during August at a median price of $885,000.

What’s Happening in Hawthorne Real Estate in 2020?

Real estate definitely picked up the pace in Hawthorne during the last 2 months and July was an improvement over an already solid June.  June saw 33 homes sellFusion South Bay townhomes and condos which was the most since last September.  In an even bettter sign the pending home sales have gone up ever month since April and July was a record high for the past few years with 48 homes going into escrow meaning a likely huge number of sales in August.

Hawthorne Real Estate Market Recap for July 2020

July was a solid month for home sales in Hawthorne CA with 33 homes selling and closing escrow during the month.  That was a very slight drop from one year earlier but a HUGE swing from April and May which only saw 11 and 14 total property sales.  The average days on market was a short 30 and the median home sales prices was $768,000 again being strongly influenced by sales in the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay which had 9 of the 33 homes.  See all of the homes and properties that sold in Hawthorne during the month of July.
