Walteria, and especially Victoria Knolls are two of the lesser known neighborhoods in Torranc and the South Bay. These friendly neighborhoods are located on the foothills of the Palos Verdes Peninsula with many of the homes having some incredible views of Los Angeles and the mountains beyond.
At the southern end of Torrance, sits the neighborhood of Walteria. Walteria offers a wonderful combination of older and newer construction, with many of the post WW2 homes still in existence along with more modern construction. This is truly a pride of ownership area with most homes being remodeled throughout but still keeping their original charm. One of the premier neighborhoods in Walteria is a relative secret area known as Victoria Knolls. This is a hillside neighborhood and with only one street in or out, Victoria Knolls has a quiet and safe feeling far removed from the homes on the valley below. These homes can often have tremendous city views.
