So how did January 2023 compare with a year earlier in terms of real estate market activity in Hawthorne?
The start of 2023 was a very slow month for the real estate market in the South Bay…..but Hawthorne actually had a stronger month than most of it’s neighbors. Some other cities saw close to 50% of the number of home sales compared with a year earlier. Hawthorne had almost the same number of closed sales as it did in January 2022. The numbers were:
