Far less well known than some of the other gated communities in Hawthorne like Three Sixty, Fusion and Parkside Village., the small community of Cottage Lane offers a unique combination of size and price. Homes rarely come on the market but the area is defnitely more affordable than Three Sixty, Fusion and Parkside Village. What make it unique is that the homes are freestanding (no shared walls so they look, live and feel like single family homes but they’re technically condos) and most are on the smaller side which helps keep prices down a bit.

Cottage Lane consists of 44 freestanding single family style homes built in and around 2002. The homes are on the small side for newer construction and range from approximately 1368 square feet to 1,568 square feet…..with either 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms or 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths.
HOA dues are low around $110 a month but there are no real community amenities.
We don’t often see listings in the community of Cottage Lane come up very often and they usually sell fairly quickly. As the homes are still relatively newer, they usuall offer some more modern designs and finishes including updated flooring, interior laundry, attached garages, granite counters in kitchens and baths, open layouts, and more.
